Early mountain bike racing for our club team continued at the Forever Farm Radsport XC and Trail Run on April 8, 2023 in Berks County, PA. The event was hosted by our friends Gabe and Kacey Lloyd at Long Tail Creative. The event is part of the Mid-Atlantic Super Series of mountain biking which includes racing for pro and first-time racers darn near every weekend from March to December in our region. If you wanna get into mountain biking and join one of the most inclusive and friendly communities our there, the MASS series has a place for you.

Huge shout out to Jacob Ehlinger (Doylestown) who finished 2nd in the Men's Category 1 (19-39) race. Jacob narrowly lost out on the top step in a sprint finish. We've previously noted that Jacob was an outstanding local mountain biker as teenager before stepping away from competition for several years. The past few years we've watched Jacob climb straight up the ladder through Category 2 & 3 in the MASS Series, in fact winning his category/age group each year. He put in a ton of work on the road bike this winter and obviously it's already paying dividends.

Is that our club mountain bike racing team, or the CB West offensive line? Congratulations to Joe Linderman (Doylestown) in 2nd, Alex McKenzie (Langhorne) in 3rd, and Greg Wesolowich (Fogelsville) in 5th in the Men's Category 2 Clydesdale Race. Of special note, congrats to Alex on his first ever mountain bike race. That's a pretty good start.

But bike racing wasn't the only victory today: Joe Linderman got down on one knee at the finish line of the 2023 Forever Farm Radsport XC MTB and Trail Race and successfully proposed to accomplished multi-sport athlete Marie. This is definitely a high water mark for our team. Congrats Joe and Marie!
