Here are some things you should know about Kim Zubris (Alburtis, PA): Within cycling, she is highly regarded by everyone and is a consummate professional at the top of her competitive career. Everyone wants her on their track cycling team, and we are so blessed that she is on our team. We profiled her in this blog piece from 2023 and we would love for you to get to know her. A regular summer feature is watching Kim turn in dominant performances on Friday nights at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center (Breinigsville, PA). This past Friday, August 16 was the penultimate night of racing at "T-Town" featuring the annual Madison Cup competition, and for the second time since 2021, Kim walked away with the Ignosh Rider of the Year Award. This summer-long competition rewards the racer who acquires points in sprint and endurance disciplines, rewarding versatile racers who can excel in many types of races.

Winning the 2024 Ignosh Quotes Rider of the Year Award caps an exceptional season for Kim. Earlier this season Kim competed in the USA Cycling Elite Track National Championships with teammate Julianna Rutecki. Kim walked away from the national championships with three gold medals in the Omnium, Elimination, and Points disciplines. She also collected bronze medals in the Individual Pursuit and Scratch disciplines. We can't wait to see what her goals for 2025 are but for now, we're basking in her 2024 glory.
