Our Amateur Athletes at Pickle Juice 2

Thank you again to the Pickle Juice Women's Cycling Team who held the second, of their four week criterium series at Springford HS in Royersford (Montgomery County), PA. This week is we shine a light on the amateur and club racers who donned a mask, braved the heat, and participated in racing. Alden Weinhold (Doylestown, PA) placed 20th in CAT 3/4 Race as a junior aged racer. Alden, who is a freshman at Lenape Middle School has done a tremendous amount of riding in preparation for this season and we really expect to be seeing his name a lot the next few years.

Rob has strung together back-to-back successful weeks at Pickle Juice. Although he only managed 4th place this week, last week Rob placed 2nd in the Master's Race which means $$$$. Rob stated that finishing in the money was a "bucket list" goal, so congratulations on that accomplishment. Rob may not be aware that Team Director's are normally awarded 50% of the purse, but no big deal.

In another historic first, we registered two women in a criterium race under our team. Bethany Matsick (Warrington, PA) who races collegiately for Liberty University finished 2nd in the Women's CAT 1-2-3 race, and Jackie Lewis (Warminster, PA) finished 4th in the Women's CAT 4/5 race (her first ever). A special congratulations.
