CB South alum Bethany Ingram was born and raised in Warrington, PA. She came to cycling from competitive swimming during her time at Liberty University. Bethany raced for us in 2022 before signing a pro contract with the UTC ButcherBox p/b Look Cycles program in 2023. Bethany returned to race for us on the road in 2024 while honing her focus on track cycling with the UCI Chaney Windows & Doors Team and the USA Cycling National Track team. Bethany is a multiple national champion on the track, earned a gold medal in Team Pursuit at the 2024 Pan American games, and made the USA Olympic long-form team leading to the Paris Olympics. Bethany has announced that she has signed a pro contract to race for the powerhouse Blue Ridge-Twenty28 professional women's cycling team. The summer Olympics visit Los Angeles in 2028, so you can guess the team's focus and why it's such a great fit for her. Thank you, Bethany, for representing our cycling community, and we'll all be cheering for you at the next level!

In 2024 alone, Kim Zubris won the Valley Preferred Cycling Center Rider of the Year competition, three gold medals and two bronze medals at the 2024 USA Cycling Elite Track National Championships, and three gold medals at the UCI Master's Track World Championships in our colors. Not only is it hard to imagine another athlete having that success for our program (we'll try), but it's equally hard to imagine a person who has more respect from her competitors and teammates. Like Bethany, Kim's focus will now shift to international racing, with her focus squarely on the 2028 Los Angeles Olympics, and she has signed a contract with the UCI Star Track Cycling program based in New York City. This will also give her a great platform to work with other rising, track cycling athletes.

Mike Norton of MSN Pro Coaching said, "You guys gotta have Alex St. Andre on your 2024 elite team because he's a rising star, and he's a natural fit for your program." Well, he was certainly right about that. Alex resides in Westover, CT, a little further afield than most of our athletes. He made a difference for us right out of the gate with strong performances and podiums in the Branchbrook Spring Series, Garden State Stage Race, and the Trooper Brinkhoff Memorial Race before being sidelined by illness. Alex returned from racing in Belgium for a strong end of the season that earned him a contract with the Team Skyline Pro Cycling Team (U23) program. That program will primarily be oriented towards a European racing schedule in 2025. Alex will also continue studies at Colorado State University. All the best Alex!

Sam Smith (Doylestown) was born and raised on the race course of the Bucks County Classic. He is an alum of CB West High School and is currently a student at Penn State University. With a brief interruption, he has raced for our elite program since 2019. There have been a handful of generational talents to come out of our hometown since 1900 (Brian Boger can list all of them), and Sam is one of them. As a member of our team, he has raced on three continents and had too many podium results to list. Watching him come up through our program with other Central Bucks County racers like Alden Weinhold, Chris Meacham, Jason Wood, and Chris Baccash is an era that will be hard to repeat (we'll try). Sam recently signed a contract with the Skyline-Cadence team that will focus on high-level, national races in the United States. Sam talked about his history with our team and his future goals on the Unknown Athlete Podcast which you can find here. He might be wearing a new color, but we'll look forward to seeing him compete next year and the years to come. Thanks, Sam!
