The Return of Jacob Ehlinger!

Jacob Ehlinger (Doylestown) is no stranger to mountain bike racing, he just took a hiatus. In 2008 Jacob won a national championship as a twelve year old at the USA Cycling Junior Mountain Bike National Championships under. the tutelage of his father Phil. Then came interests in motorcycles, cars, school and other areas of life. Jacob returned to the mountain bike last year with our club team winning the Mid-Atlantic Super Series of mountain biking Category 3 (19-29) championship. On Saturday, Jacob secured the 2022 MASS Series men's Category 2 (19-29) championship by winning the Big Elk XC/Endurance Race in Fair Hill, Maryland. He was joined there by our club team patron, Mike Bowe (Doylestown) who finished 7th in the men's 45+ Endurance race.

Jacob and Mike are representative of the members of our Bike Works p/b Fred Beans USA Cycling Club team. People who get up and work everyday, but make the sacrifices necessary to compete on the bicycle on the weekends. We are proud of our community members who compete at every level of the sport regardless of the cycling discipline: road, criterium, track, mountain bicycle, BMX ... whatever you got. There is no cost to join our club team and we love having you represent us on the bicycle everywhere.
