Somehow the race organizers found a relatively flat, 0.75 mile circuit in Pottstown's eastern end to stage their 2019 bike race, but boy-oh-boy did they turn on the oven. Our team captain, Mike Bowe (Doylestown) and Rob Beighley (Buckingham) competed in the 20 mile, Master's 55+ category in 100+ degree heat. Rob finished 19th of the 34 racers who dared to take to the starting line. Also thank you to Ron Short, racer and photographer, who catches so many great images of our racers.
