Sam Smith and Alden Weinhold, both of Doylestown, are core members of the Bike Works p/b Fred Beans elite cycling team. Both had the opportunity to participate to travel to Belgium this July to participate in racing academies and experience the motherland of competitive cycling, waffles, and pommes frites with mayonnaise. Dan Turner, UCI team mechanic and shop manager of Bike Works Newtown joined us to talk about our team's 2023 European adventures as well as the lead up to the penultimate race on our calendar: the hometown 2023 Bucks County Classic.
