You don't have to go to Tokyo this summer to watch international racing because it has returned right here at the Valley Preferred Cycling Center in Trexlertown, PA at the UCI T-Town Summer Games which concludes this weekend with the Fastest Man & Woman on Wheels competition (August 6-7). Last weekend at the UCI Festival of Speed, Jessica Chong (Lehigh Valley) had superstrong performances in both the Elite Women's 10km Scratch Race (5th) and UCI Elite Women's International Omnium (6th) against a field of racers that included stiff competition from Mexico, Canada, Barbados, Trinidad & Tobago, and the United States. The International Omnium consists of four events, making it a grueling day of racing, but this won't stop Chonger from taking on the penultimate event of the UCI T-Town Summer Games.

Danielle Shumskas (Pipersville) returns to action in the women's Junior Keirin and Elite Sprint races, while Andy Dudle (Emmaus) takes on the men's Elite Omnium race. If you haven't had a chance to catch the action on a Friday night at T-Town you are running out of chances in 2021. Tickets are inexpensive, the venue is family-friendly, and the concessions are great. Go out and cheer for the home team this weekend!
